This is the very first “terrain” that I got working with the voxel terrain editor. Was still trying to figure out the most optimized data structures at this point and the fastest way to edit the terrain:

After some fiddling around with noise generators, this was the result:

Once I finally got smoothed normals, the tri-planar shader working, and grass generation in place, it started to look more like a terrain:
